Text & Layout

Choose your font, text size, weight, color and shadow, and adjust row spacing and side margins.

Text and layout settings are free for everyone. Both open from Settings → Appearance under Customize, show a live preview, and only take effect when you tap Save. The same editors appear in the theme editor as Text and Layout.

Text

Settings → Appearance → Text controls how the text on your pages looks:

  • Text size: Small, Medium, Large or Extra large
  • Text Color: Follow Theme uses the light or dark mode's text color, or choose Custom Color to pick your own. It applies to item text and headers. Icon colors are set separately in Icons.
  • Text shadow: adds a soft shadow behind text so it stays readable over busy backgrounds
  • Font: tap to browse the font catalog. Type in Search fonts to find one by name.
  • Font Weight: Default, Light, Regular, Medium or Bold. This sets the weight of item text. Headers have their own weight setting in the header editor.

Your phone's own display and font size settings also affect sizes, so text scales with your accessibility settings. Tap Display settings in the editor to open them.

Layout

Settings → Appearance → Layout controls how rows are spaced on every page:

  • Row spacing: Tight, Normal, Relaxed or Loose
  • Side margins: Narrow, Normal or Wide

Text size lives in Text, and icon size lives in Icons.

Page and Item Alignment

Alignment is set on the pages themselves rather than in Appearance. You can center or left-align one item, every item on a page, or just the items you add later. See Arranging Items.
