Headers
Style the header at the top of Home and any page: layouts, frames, clock, date, weather, typography and widgets.
Opening the Header Editor
Every page, Home included, has a header at the top. To change it:
- Open the page (not in Edit Mode)
- Tap the ⋮ page menu in the top right
- Tap Header
The editor shows a live preview of the header. Make your changes and tap Save. The page updates as soon as you save.
Each page's header is its own: changing one page never changes another. Pages you haven't customized use the default header.
Layout
The Layout row shows a thumbnail for each arrangement. Tap one to try it; only the arrangement changes, and your other settings stay as they are.
On Home (swipe the row for more): Classic, Stacked, Split, Hour hero, Outline, Masthead, Sentence, Calendar, Ring, Edge, Date first, and Minimal.
On other pages: Title, Big title, and Editorial.
Frame
The Frame row wraps the header in a shape: None, Box, Band, or Rules (lines above and below). Choosing a frame only changes the frame.
When a frame is on, tap Adjust frame to fine-tune it. The controls shown depend on the frame:
- Width: Full width or Fit content
- Fill: None, Glass, Theme, Accent or Custom, with a Fill opacity
- Corners: Square, Small, Medium or Pill
- Border: None, Thin or Medium, with a Border color (Text, Accent or Custom)
- Padding and Margin: the space inside and around the frame
Content
Content chooses what the header shows. Switch each element on or off:
- Title: the page name
- Clock (Home): tap to pick a Format: Device setting, 12hr Clock (with AM/PM), 12hr Clock (no AM/PM), or 24hr Clock
- Date: tap to pick a date Format, like short weekday (Sun, Sep 13), full date, or numeric
- Weather (Home, Pro): current conditions for your weather location. Tap it to set the Location.
- Breadcrumbs (pages): the path back to Home
- Page icon (pages): the page's icon beside its title
Typography
Typography sets the header's own text style, separate from the rest of your pages:
- Font: any font from the catalog
- Title size and Subtitle size: Small, Medium, Large or Extra large
- Line spacing: the gap between header lines
- Weight: Light, Regular or Bold
Arrangement
Arrangement positions the header:
- Height: from Compact (fits content) through 20%, 25%, 33% (Standard), 40%, 50% and 66% of the screen, up to Full screen
- Vertical: Top, Middle or Bottom
- Horizontal: Left or Middle
Some layouts ignore some settings. For example, a layout with a fixed arrangement has no alignment choice. The editor hides the controls a layout doesn't use.
Reset to Default Header
If a page has its own header settings, Reset to default header appears at the bottom of the editor. Tap it and confirm with Reset to remove the page's own settings. The page then shows the default header and follows any later changes to it.
Widget Stack Header (Pro)
On Home, you can replace the text header with a scrollable stack of Android widgets:
- On Home, tap the ⋮ page menu and choose Header
- At the top of the editor, choose Widget stack instead of Header
- Tap Add widget and pick a widget. Repeat to add more.
- Set the stack's height under Arrangement → Height
Widget changes save automatically. If your Pro subscription ends, Home shows your regular text header instead. See Pro Features.
Weather in the Header (Pro)
- On Home, tap the ⋮ page menu and choose Header
- Open Content and turn on Weather
- Tap Weather and set the Location if you haven't already
The header uses the same weather location as Settings → Weather → Location. See Weather.
Headers in Themes
The theme editor has a Home header part with the same Layout, Frame, Content, Typography and Arrangement settings. Applying the theme changes your Home header. Headers on other pages aren't part of themes.
